Welcome to the 2006 Ready Race of Asia in Trang , Thailand . The event will be bringing intense racing action to Trang RC Raceway on December 8-10, 2006 . This is an International event with drivers traveling from Asia and many different other parts of the world. This racing event is open for all brands of 4WD electric powered (EP) 1:10 touring car, no restrictions on modifications of the car. Two different classes , Stock 19 Turn Motor and Open Modified Motor will be raced on a challenging road course . IFMAR rules and format will be used with a few exceptions as outlined in the Rules section. |

| According to the 2003 and 2004 Reedy Race of Asia, they were held in Bangkok also went well with great successes. There were more racers more people than in the past. This year, the 2006 Ready Race of Asia will be held in Trang , Thailand and we will our best to satisfy all racers/visitors who come to this racing event. Our goal since we first started planning the 2006 Ready Race of Asia was to give you the racer the absolute best value we could while still giving you the most amazing event we possible could. Therefore we will provide drivers/visitors all the arrangement including accommodation and transportation. Moreover after the end of this event, we would like to introduce you a special one day trip to the wonderful emerald cave where you will see the beach in cave and enjoy snorkeling. | |

Trang RC raceway is the biggest permanent outdoor on-road track in southern Thailand . It is very brand new track and will be grand opening for this racing event. The track has been built on city sport stadium with the land kindly donated by the municipality of Trang province. This facility and building were also fund and built by municipality of Trang province. The asphalt surface is exceptionally smooth. The track design will be laid out in such a way to satisfy hi-end electric power radio controlled race cars. It also features a 12 meters long drivers' stand and 2.8 meters high with an unobstructed view of the entire track area. The pit area completes with benches and 220v AC power outlets ( Type A three holes style) to accommodate all drivers and their pit crews. However the pit area is not bit big enough to fit all drivers during this event period so the organizer will prepare temporary and comfortable tents for drivers which complete tables, chairs, lights, AC power outlet and fans. Food and drink will be available throughout the day from the trackside restaurant. Public restrooms are separated men and women. |

| A presentation dinner for the 2006 Ready Race of Asia will be held at the Thummarin Thana Hotel on Sunday December, 10th 2006 starting at 19:00 The fee for the drivers' dinner is included in the event registration fee. A “Drivers” accreditation pass is required for complimentary entry. International buffet as well as best local cuisines will be served along with live music band. The winners will be announced at the presentation dinner | |

Nok air operates a direct flight from Bangkok to Trang daily. It is low cost airline so you buy your cheap ticket around 3,900 Baht for round trip depending on an earliness to book your flight. |

Two trains depart from Bangkok station for Trang station daily,express train and rapid train. Express train has three classes available but we do recommend you only 1 st class and 2 nd class not 3 rd class. |

The Transportation Company Limited provides daily services both of non and air-conditioned buses, leaving from the Southern Bus Terminal on Borom Ratchonnani Road in Bangkok . Further information can be acquired by calling 435-1200, 435-1199. There is also a province bus company, Sap Paisan Tour. Tel. (02)435-5017 ( Bangkok ), that offers regular services. |
